Seven nights of English at the dinner table. Five minutes each.
One ready-made question a night, in Indonesian and English, taken from Kiko's rainforest adventure. Your child answers in whichever language they like — the English goes in through the ear, not as homework.
One question per night, seven nights
Taken from real scenes in Kiko's adventure — the falling branch, the whispering roots, the sun bear and the orchid.
Pronunciation written the way you read it
Three words a day, spelled out phonetically. You do not need to be fluent — that is the whole point of this sheet.
What to do when your child goes quiet
Every day has a fallback line, because the first silence is where most parents give up.
Who is sending this
I am Deny. I spent over a decade in corporate finance in Jakarta before leaving to write children's stories about Indonesia's forests and seas. My own children are in secondary school now — this book will never be the book of their childhood. I was late for them. I would rather not be late for yours.
